| Helmet Laws: A product of democracy? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

Citizens, beware! Our government that we are to trust is doing many things that are not consistent with the principles of democracy. According to our Constitution, we are supposedly guaranteed certain freedoms. Who makes sure that WE, THE PEOPLE get what we're GUARANTEED anymore? WE, THE PEOPLE, DO! But, we, the people have been letting the government do what it will, voting the right people into office, but not informing them of them of our actual needs. Now I know a lot of us will say, "I let them know each time I go to the polls." It would really be nice if that was all there was to it. The thing is that people who want to impose their thinking upon us have no problem in expressing THEIR NEEDS! Examples:1: Making guns available to only those people who enforce the law and those who break it. Any gun that is easily used by the average citizen wishing to protect their family may become illegal in the future. This is very probable. They think because a gun is unthinkable in their homes and in their lives that no one else should have one in theirs.I guess when a theif, rapist, or murderer enters their home, they'll dial 911, run from that person, reason with them and maybe pray. All of these things are great, but they only provide a few seconds in what could actually save their lives. Myself, I personally think that the handgun would serve me better along with those other faculties. 2: CD booklets now wear an unremovable parental advisory warning sticker. I find this very upsetting. I do not have children that would be affected by the contents of MY CD. I see this as defacing MY PROPERTY! Besides, couldn't the child just put a sticker over the parental advisory, "lose" the booklet, or black it out somehow anyway? 3: In many states, parents have the right to decide whether or not their CHILD wears a helmet while bicycling. In many more states, ADULTS do not have the right to decide for THEMSELVES whether or not THEY wish to wear helmets. Some sickos are working on airbags for motorcycles. Me, personally I think it gives a new meaning to the saying, "Crash and Burn." Hearing about many of these new technologies I really want to protect my right to just say "No.", HA HA. I plan in the near future to participate in several no-helmet runs in different areas of the U.S. These are considered illegal. As not to incriminate myself I did not say HOW. Ha ha.People who participate by riding helmetless will surely get tickets. I urge freedom at any cost. Our founding fathers did! | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| WHO HAS THE RIGHT TO DECIDE? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

We all do! The time is now. Tomorrow is not good enough! The people who have helped take away some of OUR LIBERTIES did not procrastinate in their efforts. They did this with a passion of knowing that they were right in doing it, which fired them up even more. Now, I ask you, are WE right in wanting to fight for what is OURS? YES WE ARE!!!!!!!!! Are we infringing upon THEIR rights by demanding the freedoms we want? No. I hardly think so. To remedy THEIR gun control problems maybe THEY should consider living in a monastery, a fallout shelter or perhaps another planet. ;) My thinking on CDs is this. THEY should try getting a relationship going with THEIR children. If THEY actually knew THEIR children and THEY were responsible for them maybe THEY could impose THEIR rules within THEIR own homes.(If THEIR children have any respect for them left by now, maybe they'll respond to THEIR rules within THEIR own homes.) And most of all, THEY can leave MY HOME, MY FAMILY, and MY PROPERTY out of THEIR affairs, because that's MY BUSINESS! ;) WE have a right to take care of OUR OWN affairs, and WE are responsible for the pursuit of our OWN happiness. THEY certainly will NEVER back down. WE never should have either. What I mean by backing down is, WE stopped writing letters, making phone calls, talking to candidates, or being in the presence of those who were already elected. I can bet money that THEY were there imposing what THEY wanted. WE NEED TO STAND AND BE COUNTED! WE DO MATTER! WE DO HAVE THE RIGHT TO DECIDE! WE NEED TO APPEAR IN GREAT NUMBERS AS THEY DID! WE CAN WRITE LETTERS AND MAKE CALLS! ( even if we havent done it before, its simple as saying what you want, learning WHO to say it to. public libraries or local groups supporting important issues will be happy to help you learn WHO to write to or call. It doensnt have to be impressive or fancy. Just let em know youre a voter in thier area, and what you want. ONE letter is said to EQUAL 150 VOTES! HA,HA, HA!) So far THEY have been THE MAJORITY, but WE have they right to change that too! I think WE have been THE MAJORITY for a long time but we just havent shown it by appearing in large groups lately. WE can once again become THE GOVERNMENT, representative of OUR CONTITUTION. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

YES! | It most certainly is! I know my webpage is not decorated and it is written plain black and white. I didnt think I needed to show you pictures of what the world will be like if we continue to let THEM take away OUR LIBERTIES. When I think about it, I just wonder where, and when if ever will THEY stop? I've known that ansewer for a long time, It'll be when I DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! I write letters, I make calls. Today I write this newsletter, Hoping that this will insire those who ordinarily may have backed down. NOW IS THE TIME TO FIGHT FOR WHAT IS OURS! TODAY!!! I would like to hear from you!
